perhaps in school we regarding this realized is not very big, however we soon face the graduation, also meant must look for the work.
already some people commented: the next several year university graduate, the graduation also on meant unemployment! although i not like this believed, but i still felt we should have one kind of crisis feeling, by faces the worst possible occurrence.

two years ago, i came into this city of and started my college life , the most memorable journey of my life. i was just a shy and little girl that time. all the things seemed fresh to me: new faces, large library and physics lab etc. i breathed the air of college greedily, i was curious about everything.the class given by the teachers are excellent.they provide us with information not only from our textbook but from other sources as well.i actively involved in student union and varies of association. but soon i realized that i do not make full use of my spare time ,so i got a part-time job to help a junior student with math lessons besides,i also took part in activities concerning public welfare. we taught the kids there who could not afford school, i was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, the precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us--future teachers. the enrichment of experience taught me the significance of modesty,responsibility,tolerance,and perseverance.
and now i have been here two years. recalling to the two years, i think i have to talk about one thing--learning. learn how to study independently, learn how to get along with others, learn to love, learn to… oh, there are too much things we have to learn.
comparing with senior high school, college is a rather different place. there aren’t so many people to watch you and guide you how to do something any more, neither are there so many students who share with you one dream. in college, you must think and study yourself, so you have to learn and practice to control yourself.
after the arduous military training, i get absolutely absorbed in my studies. the classes given by the teachers are excellent. they provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. they easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as i can.
frankly speaking, at first i had some difficulty following the teachers. however, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers' guidance, i made remarkable progress. now i've benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.
learning is a long process; i'll keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. this summer i got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. a publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation and revision.
at the beginning i was belittled by my colleagues. but they were really surprised when i translated seven english articles over 5,000 words on only one day. gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. in their opinion i turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.
i also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. so i often take part in activities concerning public welfare. i once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. we taught the kids there who could not afford school. while showing them how broad and how civilized the outer world is, i was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honesty and their purity. i couldn't control my tears on the day when we left. the precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers.
besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well. i do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic. we also write a play and put it on in our spare time.
campus life is the most splendid time. but different people have different choices. the majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day they'll become outstanding. but there are indeed some students still under ignorance. they gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards. they're busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. they forget completely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland.
finally, i do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizen of the country. i do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society!

在我這18年的生命中,有著許多美好的經(jīng)歷,而大學(xué)生活則是其中最難忘的一段。我永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)忘記剛剛跨進(jìn)大學(xué)校園的那幾天:花園一樣的校園,熱情活躍的學(xué)生,特別是那里的學(xué)習(xí)氣氛,給我留下了深刻的印象。
經(jīng)過(guò)了一段艱辛的軍事訓(xùn)練后,我完全融入到了學(xué)習(xí)中。老師的講課真是棒極了。他們傳授給我們的不僅是課本上的知識(shí),還包括其他各種各樣的信息。我渴望獲得盡可能多的知識(shí),是老師激發(fā)起了我這個(gè)不能滿足的欲望。
坦率地說(shuō),一開(kāi)始我還不能跟上老師的講課。但是,通過(guò)我自己的努力以及老師的指導(dǎo),我取得了巨大的進(jìn)步。我從老師的授課和其他許多學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告中獲益匪淺。

有一次,我和同學(xué)去了一個(gè)貧痔的山區(qū)村莊。在那里,我們教那些沒(méi)錢(qián)上學(xué)的孩子。我向他們展示了一幅寬廣、文明的外部世界的畫(huà)面,但同時(shí)我也被那些孩子學(xué)習(xí)的渴望、他們的真誠(chéng)和純潔深深打動(dòng)了。在我們離開(kāi)的那一天,我那不爭(zhēng)氣的眼淚禁不住流了下來(lái)。這次珍貴的經(jīng)歷讓我們這些未來(lái)的教師意識(shí)到了自己肩上的責(zé)任重大。
i also believe that success is not discriminatory. success does not attach to a mere particular class of individuals. i believe that each and every individual, regardless of race, gender, class or even economic background, has an equal right to success, because each person has the right to develop his own ideals and to pursue those ideals.
a good example of this is the composer beethoven, a man who all of us know has created great symphonies. this man was deaf. this man was unable to hear his own majestic pieces of work. and yet, he held to his ideal of creation of music to the very end. then what exactly does the definition of success mean to me? to answer this question, to exemplify it, i pose a question to this house. i pose a question what brings us here together today, ladies and gentlemen, students and educators as you like. and the answer that i have found is the love for the spoken word.
love for the spoken word means how it is to express, how it is to listen, how it is to understand. because what happens when you have a pause, what happens when you have a rhetoric speech all differs on the impact and communication that you have on your audience. but the meaning of the spoken word applies ever more strongly to those who are unable to speak, or are unwilling to speak. because all the beautiful thoughts and emotions encapsulated in that person will inevitably be lost, if that person is not able to speak.
i once went to australia in 1998,and i saw two pictures drawn by three-year-old children. one was drawn by a normal child, one was drawn by what is known as an autistic child, a child which is exclusive, which is unable to express himself verbally to other people. and you could see the difference between the pictures. one was a picture of a horse very simple and straightforward. one was a picture of a horse a gain, but you could see the life, you could see the spirit, and you could see the detail behind that picture.
so the point i want to make here is that these people do have emotion they understand a lot, but it is very very fatal that they are not able to express themselves. and my definition of success is to share with them the beauty of the spoken word. my definition of success is to teach and be able to change these people's lives, because i have had the opportunity of encountering these people in my times either at school or during my summer jobs. i have had the time and opportunity to change these people. i have had the time to see exactly what exactly they go d1rough and to understand that point.

改革開(kāi)放后,政府關(guān)注祖國(guó)的發(fā)展,但更我們的受教育的程度,因?yàn)榘l(fā)展離不開(kāi)知識(shí)的導(dǎo)航,沒(méi)有導(dǎo)航者,時(shí)代步伐就不會(huì)向前邁進(jìn)。
我們身系祖國(guó)未來(lái)的重任,為此,國(guó)家政府近年來(lái),對(duì)農(nóng)村孩子受教育情況極為重視。2012年,對(duì)于農(nóng)村家庭及貧困生來(lái)說(shuō)都是不平凡的一年,。政府實(shí)施了農(nóng)村中小學(xué)免除學(xué)雜費(fèi)這一優(yōu)惠政策。“免除學(xué)雜費(fèi)”,多么簡(jiǎn)短的一句話?。s不知挽回了多少 像我一樣瀕于輟學(xué)邊緣的貧困生?。∽尳逃钊朊恳粋€(gè)學(xué)生的心底,讓愛(ài)撐起瘦弱的肩膀,讓幸福的陽(yáng)光著每一個(gè)人!我敢斷言,從這一批批享受?chē)?guó)家優(yōu)惠政策的貧困生中定會(huì)誕生一個(gè)又一個(gè)優(yōu)秀的棟梁之材!

psychologist tell us that stress is a state of worry caused by the problem of living , such as too much work or study , heavy responsibilities , and quickened pace of life .statistics show that stress comes from every detail in our life .financial problems , poor health , being laid off may be the stress that most adults now suffering .as students in the university , we are also under our special stress .

另一方面,同樣一組數(shù)據(jù),也可以解讀為:中國(guó)制造仍然停留在全球生產(chǎn)分工鏈條的低端。一部售價(jià)超過(guò)650美元的iphone6,留給中國(guó)的價(jià)值,只有組裝環(huán)節(jié)的勞務(wù)費(fèi),約11美元。
中國(guó)過(guò)去三十年快速發(fā)展的模式,未來(lái)還會(huì)復(fù)制下去嗎?
中國(guó)粗放的經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展模式,土地、資金和勞動(dòng)力的資源整合,是過(guò)去中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的主要模式。據(jù)測(cè)算,過(guò)去三十年,中國(guó)的資本回報(bào)率保持在25~30%。但經(jīng)過(guò)三十年的發(fā)展,中國(guó)的經(jīng)濟(jì)增長(zhǎng)邏輯已經(jīng)悄然改變。資本、勞動(dòng)力等要素投入邊際效應(yīng)遞減,近年來(lái),新的經(jīng)濟(jì)動(dòng)力來(lái)自于學(xué)習(xí)和創(chuàng)新。
中國(guó)一個(gè)典型的創(chuàng)新是行業(yè)創(chuàng)新,中國(guó)的高鐵技術(shù)、基因測(cè)序技術(shù)、新能源技術(shù)都已經(jīng)達(dá)到世界領(lǐng)先水平。除了行業(yè)創(chuàng)新,另一個(gè)典型的創(chuàng)新是區(qū)域創(chuàng)新。
中國(guó)各區(qū)域發(fā)展不平衡,我們看到西部地區(qū)依然在走資源整合的路子,發(fā)達(dá)城市在二十年前已經(jīng)開(kāi)始了高新科技的產(chǎn)業(yè)政策支持創(chuàng)新,現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)是不同行業(yè)創(chuàng)新的聚集地,我們也看到一些二線城市,既有資源整合的影子,也有創(chuàng)新產(chǎn)業(yè)的影子。
中國(guó)企業(yè)和城市都面臨一個(gè)轉(zhuǎn)型的問(wèn)題、創(chuàng)新的問(wèn)題。這對(duì)中國(guó)這個(gè)經(jīng)濟(jì)體有影響,對(duì)全球經(jīng)濟(jì)也有影響。
二、移動(dòng)互聯(lián)時(shí)代的中國(guó)
我第二個(gè)要談的是中國(guó)的互聯(lián)網(wǎng)。中國(guó)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)行業(yè)的發(fā)展正是中國(guó)宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)的映射,互聯(lián)網(wǎng)行業(yè)正在經(jīng)歷從粗放發(fā)展到創(chuàng)新發(fā)展的轉(zhuǎn)型。
XX年開(kāi)始,全球步入移動(dòng)互聯(lián)時(shí)代,中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展與之同步。在移動(dòng)互聯(lián)時(shí)代,新的生存法則就是創(chuàng)新。移動(dòng)互聯(lián)時(shí)代的創(chuàng)新帶來(lái)的是中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)跨越式發(fā)展的最大機(jī)會(huì)。中國(guó)移動(dòng)互聯(lián)增長(zhǎng)最為快速、最生機(jī)勃勃的領(lǐng)域,恰恰是中國(guó)基礎(chǔ)行業(yè)發(fā)展最弱的領(lǐng)域。中國(guó)人習(xí)慣把這一現(xiàn)象稱(chēng)為“彎道超車(chē)”。例如,在中國(guó)的金融行業(yè),信用制度的不完善嚴(yán)重拖累信用卡的發(fā)行,信用卡的普及率極低反而成為移動(dòng)互聯(lián)快速成長(zhǎng)的沃土。
XX年,中國(guó)共有45.24億筆交易脫離pos機(jī)的限制,通過(guò)手機(jī)端簡(jiǎn)單的一個(gè)密碼輸入完成,交易額高達(dá)22.59萬(wàn)億元。就在兩周之前的中國(guó)新年除夕當(dāng)天,微信紅包帶來(lái)的移動(dòng)端小額交易總量達(dá)10.1億次。短短兩年間,中國(guó)在手機(jī)端重構(gòu)了一個(gè)更快速、更便捷、普及率更廣的金融體系。
這個(gè)例子說(shuō)明,中國(guó)原先信用卡的不足、支票的缺失,讓中國(guó)跨越成長(zhǎng),中國(guó)不需要支票,直接進(jìn)入更便捷的手機(jī)支付時(shí)代,相比之下,美國(guó)因?yàn)槠渫晟频慕鹑谙到y(tǒng),還停留在pos機(jī)端刷卡階段。
移動(dòng)支付方面,中國(guó)目前有所超越,美國(guó)是否會(huì)在下一輪有一個(gè)大的反超?這種互相超越的過(guò)程或許會(huì)成為大家互惠成長(zhǎng)的方式。
再談中國(guó)電子商務(wù)。中國(guó)的人均商業(yè)面積小,物流費(fèi)用高。在過(guò)去,貨物從廣州運(yùn)至北京甚至比運(yùn)到美國(guó)西海岸還貴。蓬勃的商業(yè)需求與落后的商業(yè)基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施之間的巨大落差,催生了中國(guó)電子商務(wù)的崛起。如今,阿里巴巴已經(jīng)成為世界一流的電子商務(wù)公司,服務(wù)著3.34億人;排名第二的京東,覆蓋了中國(guó)85%的行政區(qū)劃。以211的配送法則(上午11點(diǎn)前下單,當(dāng)天到貨;晚上11點(diǎn)前下單,第二天15點(diǎn)前到貨)讓普通中國(guó)百姓享受著全球性?xún)r(jià)比最高的配送服務(wù)。
從騰訊的視角來(lái)看,移動(dòng)互聯(lián)是中國(guó)包容性增長(zhǎng)的動(dòng)力,是6.3億中國(guó)農(nóng)村居民得到可能發(fā)展機(jī)會(huì)的杠桿,也是中國(guó)縮減數(shù)字鴻溝,為世界的均衡發(fā)展做出貢獻(xiàn)的機(jī)會(huì)。
移動(dòng)互聯(lián)時(shí)代,中國(guó)新一批崛起的手機(jī)制造商讓全球的移動(dòng)互聯(lián)接入成本降到100美金之下,而4g技術(shù)的發(fā)展,也使得服務(wù)于廣大農(nóng)村地區(qū),邊際利潤(rùn)很低的用戶(hù)成為可能。
騰訊公益基金會(huì)已經(jīng)開(kāi)始在中國(guó)的農(nóng)村開(kāi)展“新鄉(xiāng)村行動(dòng)”。以貴州黎平的移動(dòng)互聯(lián)扶持農(nóng)村發(fā)展項(xiàng)目為例,農(nóng)村人民通過(guò)手機(jī)得到教育、醫(yī)療、交通、公共服務(wù)的信息,效果不錯(cuò)。移動(dòng)互聯(lián)對(duì)欠發(fā)達(dá)地區(qū)人民的專(zhuān)項(xiàng)服務(wù)將會(huì)成為新的需求和趨勢(shì)。騰訊公益通過(guò)移動(dòng)終端推動(dòng)人人可公益的理念,目前總計(jì)2800萬(wàn)人次參與,總捐款額達(dá)3億元,這可能是全球參與人數(shù)最多的公益平臺(tái)之一。移動(dòng)互聯(lián),可以更深更廣地服務(wù)于最多可能的受眾。
生于草莽讓我們更加富有創(chuàng)造力。騰訊等中國(guó)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)公司,正是生于草莽,順勢(shì)而為,把握住互聯(lián)網(wǎng)時(shí)代到移動(dòng)互聯(lián)的變遷,發(fā)掘出中國(guó)用戶(hù)最為迫切的需求,從互聯(lián)網(wǎng)時(shí)代的生存階段跳躍到移動(dòng)互聯(lián)的發(fā)展階段。
生于草莽讓我們專(zhuān)注于高效執(zhí)行,這是中國(guó)能夠彎道超車(chē)的秘訣之一。中國(guó)的創(chuàng)新效率單項(xiàng)排名在XX年達(dá)到全球第一。需要指出的是,創(chuàng)新效率并不是指中國(guó)最具創(chuàng)新性,而是說(shuō)中國(guó)將創(chuàng)新落地的能力非同一般。
生于草莽讓我們集中優(yōu)勢(shì)力量,以點(diǎn)帶面突破,形成產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈。這大概是中國(guó)彎道超車(chē)的另一個(gè)秘訣。在中國(guó),既有深圳南山、北京中關(guān)村、上海張江這樣的世界級(jí)創(chuàng)新基地,也有天津?yàn)I海、成都高新、武漢光谷這樣蓬勃發(fā)展的第二梯隊(duì)。
生于草莽讓我們更接地氣,從人性洞察出發(fā),讓產(chǎn)品嵌入我們對(duì)人的根本需求的理解,這樣的產(chǎn)品及創(chuàng)新將更具有生命力。微信就是滿足和把握移動(dòng)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)人與人交往需求與人性特點(diǎn)的一個(gè)典型創(chuàng)新案例。
微信從初期的搖一搖、語(yǔ)音消息、附近的人等基礎(chǔ)功能發(fā)掘,到“朋友圈”功能,創(chuàng)建了公眾平臺(tái)生態(tài)、實(shí)現(xiàn)移動(dòng)端支付,未來(lái)微信還將連接各種智能硬件和服務(wù)。
三、中美攜手美好的未來(lái)
我第三個(gè)要談的是中美之間。
XX年開(kāi)始的全球互聯(lián)網(wǎng)由pc端向移動(dòng)端轉(zhuǎn)移的大彎道上,中美兩國(guó)共同成為全球移動(dòng)互聯(lián)行業(yè)的引領(lǐng)者。目前在全球市值前10位的互聯(lián)網(wǎng)公司中,阿里巴巴、騰訊、百度和京東等四家來(lái)自中國(guó),其他六家來(lái)自美國(guó),他們?yōu)槭澜绻餐瑒?chuàng)造了超過(guò)2萬(wàn)億美元的市值,影響著全球人民的生活和工作。從這個(gè)意義上講,中國(guó)的發(fā)展,美國(guó)的發(fā)展,未來(lái)世界的發(fā)展,必然是要聯(lián)系在一起的。
中國(guó)人很看重一個(gè)概念,叫做“勢(shì)”。它由另外兩個(gè)中國(guó)字“執(zhí)”和“力”構(gòu)成,意義接近于力量、趨勢(shì)、影響力等。但我認(rèn)為,這個(gè)勢(shì)更接近于“動(dòng)力、動(dòng)能”。以中國(guó)為例,中國(guó)的奇跡之旅起始于1980年的一個(gè)靠近香港漁村。這個(gè)漁村叫“深圳”。30年過(guò)去,這個(gè)偏僻陌生的漁村已經(jīng)成長(zhǎng)為人口過(guò)千萬(wàn)的大都會(huì),也是騰訊的誕生地。驅(qū)動(dòng)這一巨變的就是中國(guó)改革開(kāi)放的“勢(shì)”。三十年后,中國(guó)與世界更為深入和廣泛的連接、學(xué)習(xí)、創(chuàng)新、合作,新的一個(gè)“勢(shì)”正在中國(guó)升起。
中國(guó)轉(zhuǎn)型是否成功?波動(dòng)、陣痛、起伏必然是有的,我們看到了“勢(shì)”,就看到了未來(lái)樂(lè)觀的前景。無(wú)所不在的移動(dòng)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)是未來(lái)的勢(shì)之一。mobile·internet不僅是技術(shù)上說(shuō)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)與移動(dòng)通信的結(jié)合,而且在可穿戴設(shè)備逐漸涌現(xiàn)、智能家電開(kāi)始走入千家萬(wàn)戶(hù)、車(chē)聯(lián)網(wǎng)已經(jīng)部分實(shí)現(xiàn)的時(shí)代,mobile·internet已經(jīng)在反映科技進(jìn)步的方向和狀態(tài)。
未來(lái)的發(fā)展,需要看到未來(lái)的“勢(shì)”在哪里。作為互聯(lián)網(wǎng)行業(yè)的從業(yè)者,互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的未來(lái),我個(gè)人較為關(guān)注的是,移動(dòng)互聯(lián)即將要改變的地方。世界上依然有43億人還無(wú)法聯(lián)網(wǎng),其中90%的人生活在發(fā)展中國(guó)家。在這些地區(qū),僅僅依靠互聯(lián)網(wǎng)獲取信息都遙不可及。未來(lái),改變他們的生存和生活狀態(tài),是任何人都無(wú)法回避的巨大挑戰(zhàn)。這一“勢(shì)”具備之后,就勢(shì)而為的應(yīng)當(dāng)是未來(lái)成長(zhǎng)起來(lái)的人。那就是在座各位同學(xué)的這一代年輕人,我們稱(chēng)之為“90后”的人們。
這次在斯坦福大學(xué)半年,我接觸的美國(guó)90后的大學(xué)生們,都有自己的夢(mèng)想,都有清晰的目標(biāo),很清楚自己現(xiàn)在在干什么,計(jì)劃要干什么。我也看到了你們關(guān)注他人、與人合作的美德。在中國(guó),90后是最為自由的一代,中國(guó)第一次出現(xiàn)了“可以干自己想干的事情”的一代人。未來(lái)的社會(huì)改變,我們期望中美90后的合作。
美國(guó)的90后依托美國(guó)在發(fā)達(dá)國(guó)家的經(jīng)驗(yàn)和領(lǐng)先的技術(shù),中國(guó)的90后生于發(fā)展中國(guó)家,理解不發(fā)達(dá)地區(qū)人們的需求。未來(lái)亟需聯(lián)網(wǎng)的43億人,90%在發(fā)展中國(guó)家,他們生活的改變,需要發(fā)達(dá)國(guó)家和發(fā)展中國(guó)家共同攜手。未來(lái)的社會(huì)進(jìn)步,我們期望中美90后的攜手。創(chuàng)新能力很強(qiáng)的美國(guó)90后,創(chuàng)新落地能力很強(qiáng)的中國(guó)90后,中美90后的攜手正是合適的人選。
當(dāng)中美的90后聯(lián)手之后,可以用最有想象力的產(chǎn)品和服務(wù),最符合社會(huì)效益的商業(yè)模式,和最接地氣的執(zhí)行力,用移動(dòng)互聯(lián)的技術(shù)改變提升全球人民生活的福祉。不似我蹩腳的英語(yǔ),我期許,年輕的中國(guó)90后能與美國(guó)年輕人找到共同語(yǔ)言,說(shuō)不定是一種超越自然語(yǔ)言的語(yǔ)言。

英語(yǔ)的國(guó)際地位決定了英語(yǔ)演講具有重要意義,為了提高中國(guó)大學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)演講水平,從2002年開(kāi)始,中央電視臺(tái)和外語(yǔ)教學(xué)與研究出版社每年聯(lián)合舉辦一次“CCTV杯”全國(guó)大學(xué)生英語(yǔ)演講比賽,外語(yǔ)教學(xué)與研究出版社還聯(lián)合教育部高等學(xué)校大學(xué)外語(yǔ)教學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)和教育部高等學(xué)校英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)指導(dǎo)分委員會(huì)主辦每年一次的“‘外研社杯’全國(guó)英語(yǔ)演講大賽”,這些展示中國(guó)大學(xué)生外語(yǔ)能力、溝通能力與思辨能力的全國(guó)性賽事,促使“英語(yǔ)演講”這門(mén)課程自2005年起從美國(guó)引入中國(guó)高校之后在中國(guó)高校受到廣泛關(guān)注。開(kāi)設(shè)英語(yǔ)演講課最初是為了滿足這些全國(guó)性英語(yǔ)演講賽事的需求,現(xiàn)在因其在當(dāng)今全球化世界中的交流地位而成了“受歡迎的”課程。演講學(xué)領(lǐng)域的國(guó)際專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)者Stephen Lucas認(rèn)為英語(yǔ)演講的培養(yǎng)不僅能夠在口語(yǔ)交際方面,而且能夠在寫(xiě)作、聽(tīng)力、批判性思維、跨文化交際能力和整體英語(yǔ)水平等方面提高演講人的“核心技能和能力(core skills and competencies)”。然而,國(guó)內(nèi)有關(guān)英語(yǔ)演講的教材大部分取材于國(guó)外,與西方早已存在了兩千五百年歷史的演講教育傳統(tǒng)相比,我們既稚嫩又不接地氣,容易混淆英語(yǔ)演講課與英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)課之間的界限,橫亙?cè)跐h語(yǔ)與英語(yǔ)之間的語(yǔ)言和思維障礙使得大學(xué)生們的整體英語(yǔ)水平的“核心技能和能力”難以得到有效提高。從這些年來(lái)的英語(yǔ)演講課程、培訓(xùn)、比賽情況看,大學(xué)生作為個(gè)體在英語(yǔ)演講中所面臨的困境主要體現(xiàn)在以下幾個(gè)方面:說(shuō)服力弱、組織混亂、言之無(wú)物、語(yǔ)言錯(cuò)誤、自信不夠等,尤其在即興演講的環(huán)節(jié),學(xué)生容易出現(xiàn)對(duì)英語(yǔ)演講主題挖掘深度不頡⒃謐櫓演講材料時(shí)不能信手拈來(lái)、思辨能力弱等問(wèn)題,這些狀況可以由以下多維的培養(yǎng)方法和激勵(lì)措施進(jìn)行改善。
一、自信愉快策略
自信對(duì)于成功的英語(yǔ)演講有著很大的激勵(lì)作用,演講是否成功,很大程度上取決于演講者的自我感覺(jué)和心理素質(zhì)的高低。大學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)演講的自信心不足體現(xiàn)在多方面,如:在英語(yǔ)演講課堂或其他教學(xué)活動(dòng)中害怕引人注目,不敢提問(wèn)、不敢發(fā)言,有時(shí)表現(xiàn)出較強(qiáng)的虛榮心,對(duì)別人的評(píng)價(jià)很敏感,回避和掩飾自己的不足等,表現(xiàn)在演講競(jìng)賽中是容易在競(jìng)爭(zhēng)中退縮,甚至有優(yōu)勢(shì)卻不敢參與比賽。因此,老師要幫助學(xué)生消除自信心不足的問(wèn)題,維護(hù)和培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自信心。首先,要讓學(xué)生正視自信心不足的問(wèn)題,修正消極的自我評(píng)價(jià)。自信心不足的問(wèn)題普遍存在于正常人中,絕大多數(shù)人在公眾演講中都會(huì)有緊張、憂慮或害怕的體驗(yàn),自己不是少數(shù)缺乏自信心的人,要坦然面對(duì)自己的不足,化消極為積極。其次,要學(xué)會(huì)自我接受,改變對(duì)自己不合理的期望,認(rèn)識(shí)自己的價(jià)值,看到自己的長(zhǎng)處,以自己的獨(dú)特性為驕傲,努力提高自己的英語(yǔ)水平,為這份生命增添更多的精彩。還要學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用幽默樂(lè)觀的態(tài)度面對(duì)挫折,減輕焦慮和緊張情緒,維護(hù)個(gè)人自尊,保持心理平衡,把英語(yǔ)演講中所受的挫折更多地歸于客觀因素,而把英語(yǔ)演講的進(jìn)步和成功歸于自己的努力。老師除了要及時(shí)恰當(dāng)?shù)亟o予贊揚(yáng)之外,還要多創(chuàng)造機(jī)會(huì)讓同學(xué)們互相之間鼓勵(lì)與肯定。通過(guò)這種方式,學(xué)生會(huì)逐漸變得自信,以往被看得困難重重的英語(yǔ)演講也會(huì)慢慢演變?yōu)橐粋€(gè)愉快的學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程。
二、認(rèn)知特點(diǎn)探尋
從對(duì)學(xué)生的問(wèn)卷調(diào)查結(jié)果來(lái)看,每個(gè)學(xué)生有自己喜歡的信息輸入方式,約31%的學(xué)生喜歡通過(guò)看視頻,10%通過(guò)看圖片,23%通過(guò)閱讀,18%通過(guò)討論,18%通過(guò)聽(tīng)講座。要想調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性,就要在英語(yǔ)演講教學(xué)中融入各種信息輸入方式,并且要針對(duì)每個(gè)學(xué)生問(wèn)卷的反饋情況進(jìn)行小組分類(lèi),組成課后演講學(xué)習(xí)小組,發(fā)揮各自的認(rèn)知優(yōu)勢(shì),彌補(bǔ)自己的不足。同時(shí)英語(yǔ)演講如果只有一種教學(xué)方法,就勢(shì)必會(huì)讓學(xué)生失去信心和興趣,特別是當(dāng)課時(shí)有限的英語(yǔ)演講課成為一門(mén)選修課,而非只是針對(duì)英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)的學(xué)生進(jìn)行開(kāi)設(shè)的時(shí)候??梢葬槍?duì)不同性格特點(diǎn)和英語(yǔ)水平的學(xué)生采取不同的教學(xué)措施,如:比較內(nèi)向不愛(ài)講話的學(xué)生,可以從有準(zhǔn)備的背誦開(kāi)始,給予學(xué)生充分的時(shí)間進(jìn)行寫(xiě)稿背誦,背誦時(shí)間從1分鐘慢慢過(guò)渡到4分鐘,其間每次背誦之后都有同學(xué)進(jìn)行點(diǎn)評(píng)與建議,教師要予以肯定和鼓勵(lì)。對(duì)于性格外向敢于發(fā)言的學(xué)生,除了要積極給他們創(chuàng)造演講機(jī)會(huì)之外,還要引導(dǎo)他們注意發(fā)言?xún)?nèi)容的邏輯性與合理性,引導(dǎo)他們提高演講的水平。對(duì)于英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)好而又有著強(qiáng)烈的演講欲望的學(xué)生,則要進(jìn)行高水平英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)要求,指導(dǎo)他們大量閱讀各種英文書(shū)籍、文章,寫(xiě)出高水平的演講稿,作較長(zhǎng)的評(píng)論,從而過(guò)渡到訓(xùn)練有素、邏輯嚴(yán)密的即興演講環(huán)節(jié),并且通過(guò)領(lǐng)頭示范的作用使得他們的英語(yǔ)演講水平得到提高。其目的是讓所有英語(yǔ)水平有差異的學(xué)生都能在英語(yǔ)演講的學(xué)習(xí)中既獲得信心又獲得樂(lè)趣,關(guān)鍵是每個(gè)人都能在此過(guò)程中獲得不同的進(jìn)步。舉行和參與英語(yǔ)演講比賽更是一種促進(jìn)英語(yǔ)教與學(xué)的手段,對(duì)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的動(dòng)機(jī)有較大影響,并能轉(zhuǎn)變大部分學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī),從而提高學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)成效。
三、深而廣的閱讀
做好英語(yǔ)演講不是一件容易的事,而即興演講的壓力大于定題演講,尤其是“即興演講+現(xiàn)場(chǎng)提問(wèn)”的方式,這更是讓學(xué)生感到最難、最大的挑戰(zhàn)。有的學(xué)生不是因?yàn)樽约旱恼Z(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)不好,演講姿態(tài)形象不好,而是由于沒(méi)有經(jīng)過(guò)相關(guān)知識(shí)的積累和有效訓(xùn)練,拿到演講題目卻感到無(wú)話可說(shuō)。怎樣才能改變學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)演講失語(yǔ)癥?沒(méi)有現(xiàn)成的完整培訓(xùn)資料可利用,尤其是缺乏即興演講培訓(xùn)的共享資源,一切都要靠教師自己摸索。有條件的高校把訓(xùn)練個(gè)別學(xué)生英語(yǔ)演講的工作交給高水平的外教來(lái)完成,但這樣英語(yǔ)演講就變成了一個(gè)小眾的受益行為,偏離了高校英語(yǔ)教育的初衷。毋庸置疑,要想做好英語(yǔ)演講,學(xué)生就要進(jìn)行有一定深度和廣度的閱讀,進(jìn)行東西方文化知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備,提高跨文化交際能力??梢宰x經(jīng)典英文小說(shuō),每天上網(wǎng)瀏覽國(guó)外知名新聞媒體的網(wǎng)站,在周總結(jié)的時(shí)候進(jìn)行話題討論。還可以引導(dǎo)學(xué)生閱讀和背誦名篇,只有把這些優(yōu)美地道的名篇、名段牢記在心,才能進(jìn)行輸出,做到得心應(yīng)手,信手拈來(lái)。當(dāng)然,廣泛的閱讀要符合學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)水平和年齡特點(diǎn),有效的語(yǔ)言輸入應(yīng)該是學(xué)生能理解的、有意義、有趣的,并且要有足夠的量,這樣才能夠?yàn)檎Z(yǔ)言的輸出創(chuàng)造條件。在閱讀學(xué)習(xí)中更要注重“思辨”能力的培養(yǎng),強(qiáng)化批判性思維?!八急妗北徽J(rèn)為是公民素質(zhì)的重要內(nèi)核,也是現(xiàn)代教育最重要的培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)之一。表達(dá)能力的訓(xùn)練、知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備的擴(kuò)充和理論指導(dǎo)下的實(shí)踐是英語(yǔ)演講所體現(xiàn)的提高學(xué)生思辨能力三方面的有效結(jié)合。田朝霞?xì)w納了自2010年以來(lái)連續(xù)擔(dān)任全國(guó)大學(xué)生英語(yǔ)演講大賽總決賽的評(píng)委Peter Pober教授對(duì)于中國(guó)學(xué)生在演講中所體現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題為“思辨欠缺、知識(shí)缺乏、視野狹窄,以及公眾交流意識(shí)淡薄”,其中“思辨欠缺”處于第一位,這份欠缺說(shuō)明了英語(yǔ)演講“思辨”能力培養(yǎng)的重要性。
四、先練寫(xiě)再練說(shuō)
英語(yǔ)演講學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中,學(xué)生要想做好演講,就要先從練習(xí)寫(xiě)演講稿開(kāi)始,做到有章法地進(jìn)行演講。學(xué)生可以先研讀歷年來(lái)的優(yōu)秀演講稿,對(duì)演講主題進(jìn)行歸類(lèi),借鑒優(yōu)秀大學(xué)生演講的解題思路。例如:北京市大學(xué)生英語(yǔ)演講比賽曾出過(guò)的題目有:“Financial Crisis and Global Opportunity”(2009),“Beijing Students and Entrepreneurship in the Globalized Age”(2010),“Nuclear Power:Blessing or Disaster to Humankind?”(2011),“Cultural Diversity and Globalization”(2012),“My Chinese Dream”(2013)等,涉及學(xué)生所能接觸到的經(jīng)濟(jì)、社會(huì)、文化等常見(jiàn)話題,而非冷僻的主題。通過(guò)分析借鑒,學(xué)生既可以在短時(shí)期內(nèi)對(duì)各種相關(guān)演講主題有充分的心理準(zhǔn)備,又可以從不同的角度分析同一個(gè)主題內(nèi)容,開(kāi)拓思路。這些演講稿雖然經(jīng)過(guò)指導(dǎo)教師的多次修改,但主要還是學(xué)生自己的思路,而非背誦老師的作品,因此可以選擇作為學(xué)生英語(yǔ)演講的自學(xué)材料。在研究完別人的演講稿之后,學(xué)生要著手寫(xiě)自己的演講稿,經(jīng)過(guò)與老師的探討修改之后要脫稿背誦,做到既流利通暢又背得自然,老師要在學(xué)生背稿完成后進(jìn)行提問(wèn)訓(xùn)練,讓學(xué)生有一個(gè)從背誦到真實(shí)語(yǔ)境的過(guò)渡,鍛煉應(yīng)變能力。背誦在英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言習(xí)得過(guò)程中具有不可低估的地位,是學(xué)習(xí)、積累語(yǔ)言的有效途徑。反復(fù)經(jīng)過(guò)幾十次訓(xùn)練之后,學(xué)生會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)自己寫(xiě)稿子的語(yǔ)篇組織能力越來(lái)越強(qiáng),這時(shí)候就可以逐漸開(kāi)始訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的即興演講了。有了之前的英語(yǔ)知識(shí)輸入和演講稿書(shū)寫(xiě)的訓(xùn)練,學(xué)生的即興演講就會(huì)形成基本的語(yǔ)篇結(jié)構(gòu)感,這時(shí)只需要大致列一個(gè)演講提綱就可以開(kāi)始進(jìn)行即興演講。
五、反饋討論機(jī)制
學(xué)生的演講學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程艱辛而寂寞,往往是在不為人知的情況下默默苦練的,拖延或者不能按時(shí)完成自習(xí)內(nèi)容的情況時(shí)有發(fā)生,可以做一些改進(jìn),如加入撰寫(xiě)心得體會(huì)和定時(shí)舉辦小組討論反饋。學(xué)生讀英文名著、聽(tīng)故事、看影片等,在聽(tīng)、看的基礎(chǔ)上,進(jìn)行思考和心得體會(huì)撰寫(xiě),進(jìn)行每周一次的反饋與討論,在與同學(xué)討論中和教師的指導(dǎo)下逐步形成深刻、獨(dú)到的見(jiàn)解。這在其他英語(yǔ)課堂上也可以起到積極的作用,如:在綜合英語(yǔ)課堂教學(xué)中介入英語(yǔ)演講,同時(shí)進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)短的讀書(shū)反饋與討論,既能克服傳統(tǒng)教學(xué)側(cè)重語(yǔ)言輸入的弊端,又能活躍課堂氣氛,提高學(xué)生的表達(dá)能力,提高學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的主動(dòng)性和積極性,有效培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言綜合應(yīng)用能力。再如:這種反饋與討論的英語(yǔ)演講也可成為大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課堂教學(xué)的一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié),改變傳統(tǒng)課堂以“教”為主的模式,加強(qiáng)師生之間、學(xué)生之間在課堂上的互動(dòng),激發(fā)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)興趣,使其愿意積極參與課堂活動(dòng),以更好地實(shí)現(xiàn)教學(xué)目標(biāo)。此外,還可以積極運(yùn)用網(wǎng)絡(luò)音視頻及時(shí)反饋學(xué)生英語(yǔ)演講時(shí)出現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題,比如:把學(xué)生在公眾場(chǎng)合做的演講錄下來(lái),事后讓他們?cè)谌豪镉^看彼此的錄像,提出有效建議,使學(xué)生形成自然得體的體態(tài)語(yǔ)。此外,還可以通過(guò)聽(tīng)演講錄音改善自己的英語(yǔ)節(jié)奏感,根據(jù)演講的內(nèi)容、表達(dá)感情和現(xiàn)場(chǎng)情緒的需要,該快則快,該慢則慢。
六、中外師資配合
英語(yǔ)是用來(lái)進(jìn)行交流的,如果學(xué)生缺乏來(lái)自英美國(guó)家外教的交流與指點(diǎn),就勢(shì)必會(huì)削弱演講的自信心,因此要給學(xué)生創(chuàng)造獲得與外教交流指點(diǎn)的機(jī)會(huì)。中國(guó)教師可以與外籍教師進(jìn)行穿插提問(wèn),針對(duì)學(xué)生演講的問(wèn)題要態(tài)度親切、清楚具w,避免模棱兩可、難度過(guò)大,如果學(xué)生回答過(guò)于簡(jiǎn)短,教師就應(yīng)該鼓勵(lì)其進(jìn)行解釋、擴(kuò)展和說(shuō)明,教會(huì)學(xué)生回答問(wèn)題要語(yǔ)言簡(jiǎn)潔、內(nèi)容具體、有說(shuō)服力和新穎,可以適當(dāng)?shù)剡\(yùn)用引語(yǔ),或是結(jié)合自身的經(jīng)歷展開(kāi)回答,還可以在需要的時(shí)候使用幽默,反問(wèn)等形式,給人耳目一新的感覺(jué)。語(yǔ)言形式是交際手段,交流信息和思想才是目的。值得注意的是,在英語(yǔ)演講比賽中,文秋方觀察到“外方評(píng)委通常以聽(tīng)懂意義為前提來(lái)判斷選手的演講能力”,而“而中方評(píng)委時(shí)而將形式與意義分開(kāi),對(duì)選手所犯的個(gè)別低級(jí)語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤給以過(guò)多的關(guān)注,有以點(diǎn)代面的傾向”。在授課過(guò)程中,中國(guó)教師要回避過(guò)多地強(qiáng)調(diào)批評(píng)單詞的正確發(fā)音、連讀,個(gè)別的語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤等問(wèn)題,忽略了思想內(nèi)容交流的重要性。要研究學(xué)生英語(yǔ)演講稿的篇章結(jié)構(gòu)特點(diǎn),有條件的學(xué)??梢匝?qǐng)外教共同指導(dǎo)學(xué)生的演講稿。王立非認(rèn)為中國(guó)學(xué)生英語(yǔ)演講語(yǔ)塊典型錯(cuò)誤包括母語(yǔ)遷移錯(cuò)誤、習(xí)得錯(cuò)誤、冗余錯(cuò)誤、混用錯(cuò)誤等,因此英語(yǔ)演講教學(xué)可圍繞會(huì)話保持語(yǔ)塊、會(huì)話目的語(yǔ)塊、話題相關(guān)語(yǔ)塊、話語(yǔ)設(shè)置語(yǔ)塊和交際策略語(yǔ)塊展開(kāi)。觀察到中國(guó)學(xué)生過(guò)多使用從句和情態(tài)動(dòng)詞,而立場(chǎng)動(dòng)詞和介詞短語(yǔ)to使用較少,王立非建議在編撰演講教材和演講教學(xué)時(shí),應(yīng)設(shè)法通過(guò)加強(qiáng)話語(yǔ)立場(chǎng)構(gòu)塊的練習(xí),發(fā)展口語(yǔ)的流利度和準(zhǔn)確性。在演講課中,教師應(yīng)著重講解立場(chǎng)構(gòu)塊在表達(dá)觀點(diǎn)和說(shuō)服聽(tīng)眾方面的作用,提供豐富、多樣、地道的話語(yǔ)立場(chǎng)詞匯與句法構(gòu)塊輸入,通過(guò)大量模仿和接觸,提高學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)演講能力。
七、“互聯(lián)網(wǎng)+”激勵(lì)
當(dāng)今互聯(lián)網(wǎng)時(shí)代,互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的使用已經(jīng)深入到人們社會(huì)生活的方方面面,知識(shí)與學(xué)習(xí)已發(fā)生質(zhì)的變化,“互聯(lián)網(wǎng)+教育”對(duì)教育資源、教學(xué)模式和學(xué)習(xí)模式等帶來(lái)了深刻影響,“互聯(lián)網(wǎng)+”的新趨勢(shì)可以與英語(yǔ)演講學(xué)習(xí)有機(jī)融合,使英語(yǔ)演講教學(xué)走向?qū)W生的電腦終端或者智能手機(jī),有效融合成為課堂教學(xué)的極大有益補(bǔ)充。英語(yǔ)演講教學(xué)成功最關(guān)鍵的因素還在于學(xué)生,學(xué)生不但要有優(yōu)秀的語(yǔ)言功底和思辨能力,還要具有堅(jiān)強(qiáng)的信念和能吃苦的精神,大量閱讀、寫(xiě)作、練習(xí),這樣才能在老師的督促之下完成學(xué)習(xí)計(jì)劃,不斷進(jìn)取,從而達(dá)到較高的整體英語(yǔ)水平。英語(yǔ)演講的習(xí)得是艱辛的,尤其對(duì)于為數(shù)不多的幾個(gè)接受訓(xùn)練的競(jìng)賽選手而言,很多時(shí)候需要自己孤軍奮戰(zhàn),有時(shí)候?qū)W習(xí)還會(huì)因止步不前而顯得枯燥,這就需要教師把英語(yǔ)演講教學(xué)變?yōu)槟苜N近學(xué)生生活的活動(dòng),從競(jìng)賽走向普及平臺(tái)。例如:各校可以利用網(wǎng)絡(luò)的力量,結(jié)合本校大學(xué)生信息常用的渠道――微博、微信等,建立英語(yǔ)演講教與學(xué)的渠道。這些平臺(tái)可以由以下板塊構(gòu)成:英語(yǔ)名人名言、英美文化、英語(yǔ)新聞、名家講壇、英語(yǔ)演講技巧、英語(yǔ)演講稿范文、英語(yǔ)即興演講庫(kù)、英語(yǔ)演講網(wǎng)絡(luò)比賽和與英美大學(xué)生的校際演講交流等。英語(yǔ)演講學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容或者介紹英語(yǔ)演講近況,把英語(yǔ)演講學(xué)習(xí)變成一個(gè)公開(kāi)的舞臺(tái),學(xué)生將獲得更多的督促力和動(dòng)力,掌握嫻熟的英語(yǔ)演講技巧,提高整體英語(yǔ)水平,關(guān)注的學(xué)生也能從中受益,對(duì)于參與的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō),將通過(guò)演講的嘗試和成功獲得今后求職、深造的自信心。
