The Journal of Astronomical History and Heritage (JAHH) is an internationally influential journal in the field of astronomical history, founded in 1998 by John Perdrix (1926-2005), former president of the Victorian Astronomical Society of Australia, and Wayne Orcheston, an Australian historian of astronomy. The main goal of this journal is to promote the development and knowledge dissemination of astronomical history research on a global scale, covering academic papers, reviews, short articles, book reviews, and work reports of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) on the history and heritage of astronomy.

Since its inception, JAHH has received widespread attention and has been fully included in the SAO-NASA Astrophysics Data System at Harvard University, demonstrating its significant position in international astronomy and astronomical history. As one of the only two international journals in the field of astronomical history, JAHH is published in English as an electronic journal, with four issues issued annually, providing an important academic exchange platform for scholars worldwide.
